Corrosion-Resistant 316 (A4-70) Cast-In Channels for Harsh Environments
The NexCast™ AC-S range includes 7 ETA-certified profiles in 316 (A4-70) stainless steel, offering long-term durability in corrosive, marine, and coastal environments. Suitable for façade connections, exterior curtain walls, architectural precast, water infrastructure, and industrial chemical settings, these profiles support applications requiring high corrosion resistance and precise tolerances.
All AC-S profiles are fire-rated and designed for 2D loading. The AC-S 40/26P Powered channel is additionally fatigue-rated, enabling dynamic-load performance with the compatible M12 TB1-S stainless steel T-bolt.
When to Specify Stainless Steel Cast-In Anchor Channels
Stainless steel cast-in anchor channels are commonly specified in coastal, marine, chemical, and high-humidity environments where long-term corrosion resistance is critical. The NexCast™ AC-S range, manufactured from 316 (A4-70) stainless steel, provides a durable and fire-rated fixing solution for façade systems, architectural precast, and exposed structural elements.
For projects where corrosion exposure is limited and cost efficiency is a priority, hot-dip galvanised anchor channel systems may be suitable. Where applications require mechanical interlocking and certified 3D loading in stainless steel, toothed stainless steel anchor channels offer enhanced resistance to longitudinal shear.
NexCast™ AC-S profiles require stainless steel T-bolts compatible with anchor channels to ensure system compliance and long-term durability.
