What is a cast-in anchor channel? A cast-in anchor channel is a steel channel profile embedded directly into concrete before it's poured, creating a fixed connection point for later fixings — brackets, façade panels, or structural connections — using a matching T-bolt, without drilling into the cured concrete.

How are anchor channels cast into concrete? The channel is positioned and fixed within the formwork before the pour, typically fastened to reinforcement or formwork to hold it in place. Once the concrete cures, the channel is permanently embedded and ready to receive a T-bolt connection at any point along its length.

What's the difference between a cast-in anchor channel and a cast-in bolt? A cast-in bolt is a single fixed-position anchor point set into the concrete. A cast-in anchor channel allows connection anywhere along its length, giving installers flexibility to position fixings on site rather than needing exact anchor placement before the pour.
