Round Dowel Bar 304 Stainless

Stainless steel dowel bars offer a corrosion resistant solution in connection with other steel reinforcement in concrete structures. When connecting concrete slabs half of the length of dowel bars are set in the first slab leaving the other end exposed to be adhered to the connecting concrete slab at a later stage.

Acting as a load transfer device across the transverse joint between and old concrete and new concrete, keeping them at the same height.

Dowel bars provide concrete reinforcement and are used to assist lateral movement between adjoining slabs as one end of the dowel bar is kept free for expansion and contraction.
