K2 8.8 HR Structural Bolt Assembly EN14399 (AS1252:2016)

A fully complying K2 8.8 HR structural assembly is a premium bolt design which can be alternatively specified where a standard AS1252 may be used in the Australian market.

This is an AS1252:2016 Australian standards which now includes the European Standard EN 14399 which incorporates k-classes to distinguish how the bolt is to be tensioned through a torque control value. It also follows strict manufacturing and testing controls ensuring the product has very little standard deviation of the k factor (for friction) between assemblies.
