Impact bits are engineered for high torque applications, the torsion zone absorbs torque peaks to reduce stress experienced through the shank which leads to cam out and tip breakages.

The hardened steel and titanium nirtride coating increase bit strength and reduces fracturing.

TORX® ALIGN bits are designed with a slight taper that provides a wedging effect when inserted into the fastener recess. The wedge taper is particularly useful in holding non-magnetic fasteners.
