Chemical Anchor Stud

An appropriate chemical adhesive must be selected for the application–stainless steel studs can be used with epoxy, vinylester or polyester injection systems. As they are a bonded anchor they are resistant to vibration making them ideal for holding down machinery.

• 316 (A4) stainless steel for use in high corrosive environments
• Rolled external surface (false thread) provides an increased surface area for chemical adhesive to bond too
• Internally threaded for permanent or temporary fixing
• Ideal for securing equipment, machinery, steel channel or track
• For creating temporary fixing points using metric bolts

Installation Tips:

• The quoted diameter refers to the internal thread. Please refer to Technical Information for drill diameter and drill depth
• For diamond cored holes an epoxy base resin such as EF500R+ must be used
• When studs are positioned flush with surface the use of a bolt to aid inserting the stud will also help to avoid excess chemical adhesive affecting the internal threads. Allow chemical to cure before removing the bolt.
