HLA-Z1 High Load Structural Expansion Anchor

GRADE 8.8 / ZINC PLATED

High-loading expansion anchors are simple to install through fixing or prior to placement of fixing. HLA-Z1 can be disassembled leaving the surface clear as the expander and cone remain in the hole. For the preferred method with precast concrete panels the HLA-Z1 anchors can be used to secure brace-it prop support temporarily.

Other applications include fixing pillars and beams, machinery, shelves and scaffolding. And also where fire or seismic effects must be considered factors.

NCC Compliant AS 5216:2018

The ETA document meets anchor testing and reporting requirements of AS 5216:2018, essential for compliance with the NCC.

The ETA (Option 1) approved highload HLA-Z1 anchor is a high-performance through fastening anchor with plastic compression ring and with a three part expansion sleeve. This allows for smaller spacing and edge distances with high loads. Through deeper setting, the variable anchorage depth of HLA-Z1 anchors allows higher permissible shear loads in many cases, extending its range of possible uses.

Anchors M8 to M24 are also approved for use under seismic actions C1 and C2.
