The PBI BRACE-IT Anchor is a heavy duty thick sleeve expansion anchor that is vibration resistant and removable. It can be used in concrete, stone and some types of solid brick and core filled block-work. It is suitable for applications including bracing of tilt-up panels, structural steel connections and machinery to concrete.

For ultra-heavy loads for which standard anchors won’t accommodate, you need ultra-heavy duty tools.
Made from high-tensile 8.8gr steel, PBI Brace-It structural anchors are also vibration resistant, keeping the integrity of the structure sound while machinery and heavy power tools perform essential tasks around the area. In other words, these anchors, despite the presence of vibration, will not move until you are ready for them to be removed.
To temporarily secure a prefab concrete panel, simply drill a hole in the masonry at the diameter specified, hammer the anchor through the fixing plate and secure with a torque-controlled socket wrench. The thick sleeve will expand and tighten against the inside of the drilled hole.
The PBI Brace-It prop anchor range is available in the following configurations:
- M12 – 90 Nm torque setting, 18mm socket
- M14 – 150 Nm torque setting, 30mm socket
