SD500® Insulated Panel Screws Bimetal Stainless
Self-drilling long 12–24-gauge panel screws feature threads below the head suitable for fixing insulated panel sheeting to metal. The panel grip thread below the head secures roof sheeting and prevents movement along the screw shank when the roof is walked upon.
These insulation panel screws are a bimetal material – a hardened carbon steel drill tip with a 304 grade stainless steel body and head. This provides the ultimate corrosion protection in a self-drilling screw to the outdoor elements. A dual layer Ruspert surface coating is applied and will not appear to have a typical stainless steel look.

CORROSION RESISTANCE
Austenitic stainless steel 304 grade with Ruspert coating. Ruspert coating is a high-grade metal surface technology that prevents surface corrosion. Consisting of a baked ceramic surface coating and a second metallic zinc layer, these layers are bonded together through chemical reactions producing a strong coating film.
