Flange Serrated Hex Nut Zinc Metric ISO4161
Serrated hex nuts formed with an enlarged base like washer, this flared bottom has serrations that creates a locking affect with the surface when tightened. Reducing the likelihood of the nut loosening under vibration.
Like an integrated washer the flange nut works well for oversized or irregular shaped holes, as the discrepancies are covered by the larger diameter.

- ISO 4042 electroplated zinc coatings to 5um

Electroplated Zinc Coated Fasteners
Zinc Yellow Passivate (ZY) – Product is electroplated with zinc which is then passivated with a iridescent yellow conversion layer. ZYP products have a greater resistance to corrosion than Z/P and are recommended for low-corrosion environments or temporary fixing.
Zinc Plated (ZP) – Product is electroplated with zinc which is then passivated with a transparent conversion layer. Z/P products are recommended for indoor and noncorrosive environments.
