Surface mounted post support boot for safety guardrails.
Designed to be an easy and affordable handrail and edge protection system on domestic and commercial building sites. The safety base is a post support that can be temporarily installed as part of guardrail system.
Easy to install in timber or concrete flooring with common fasteners or anchors. Length and arrangement can be suited to your needs.
- Supports for 90 x 90mm posts up to 1m
- Requires 20mm toe boards up-to 2m long
- 1 box of Safety Base post supports up-to 10m of temporary edge protection
Safety base post supports meet OH&S standards and are designed and manufactured in Australia. Independently tested by Melbourne Testing Services.

Description
What's required for installing the safety base post support?
- Each base can be installed using (4) 10mm concrete anchors or (4) 10mm coach screws or (4) M10 hex bolts with nuts and washers
- Posts: 90 x 90mm post cut 1m high or x2 45 x 90 x 1000 mm (F7 structural pine) nailed or screw laminated
- Top & mid rails: 45 x 90 x 2100 mm (F7 structural pine)
- Toe board: 19 x 200 x 1980 mm (form ply)
Setting distance of posts should not exceed 2100mm.
