The sub-floor screw has be re-imagined by Simpson Strong-Tie the WSV now featuring an aggressive variable thread that requires less torque and faster installation. The WSV is the best solution for fixing sub-floor, bracing, bottom plate and stair applications.
The head design in combination with the thread design reduces the gaps between the joist and sub-floor that cause floor squeaks due to its superior holding power.
