NCC Compliant Construction Anchors

AS 5216:2021

This is the new Australian Standard for the design of post-installed and cast-in anchors in concrete that applies to safety-critical applications. It aims to aid the construction industry with consistent and clear rules when testing and designing structural anchors.

The standard was driven by AEFAC with the advice and support of a leading body of experts and professionals in the construction industry. Testing and design of anchors in accordance with AS 5216:2021 makes them compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC).
