For differing plasterboard thicknesses or the load to be supported, one may choose a certain type of hollow wall anchor, whether it is of a coarse thread nylon screw-in nature, secures via a spring-activated toggle or any other method for fixing. When mounting to a timber or steel stud, a suitable screw for grabbing the internal framework may also suffice.
